Mar 31st, 2020Exceptional Napa Valley Cabernet. Picked this up from a local liquor store on a whim, very glad I did! Let it decant for 30 mins and it’s pure bliss. Blackberry, slight cherry and plum with slight hints of oak and vanilla. This is a fantastic value at $45, drinks like a $70-$80 cab.

After a 30 minute decant wild cherries, dark chocolate, espresso, and toasty oak/vanilla. Easy-drinking and very approachable. Nice sweet fruit and pretty balanced tannins. Not as complex as I prefer but still good nonetheless.

Damn good. Had with coffee rub steak amazing. Tried with some sheep’s milk cheese blackberry jam and blueberries. Was best with blueberries but it can hold its own just drink it amazing I want more now bury me with it.
