Got to be a fave for Italian whites. Great body & tree fruit on palate. Much more flavourful than most Italian whites I encounter.

2020 vintage.
A field blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscana, Manzoni, Tocai Friulano , Cortese, Chardonnay, Riesling Italico, and Malvasia.
Custoza is in the hills of Lake Garda. Magro vineyard is small and 30 plus years old. White spring flowers, citrus and ginger on the nose. Medium bodied and off-dry with an underlying acidity. Yellow stone fruits with apple, pear and ripe persimmon.
This wine paired well with Spaghetti alla Vongole with local clams.

40 % Garganega, 20 % Trebbiano Toscana, 15% Incrocio Manzoni, 10 % Chardonnay, 10 % Cortese, 5 % Tocai Friulano, Riesling Italico, and Malvasia.
If there were any more varietals involved, we would need a bigger label.

A wonderful mix of 40% Garganega, 20% Trebbiano Toscano, 20% Incrocio Manzoni, 10% Cortese and a 10% mix of Chardonnay, Riesling and Malvasia. Quite a palate, where the majority Garganega makes it a true Veneto white, with melon, peach and great freshness and minerality.
