Nov 3, 2018. Dinner w/ Jack D, KK, and J2, to celebrate car deal. 😁 Purchased 2 bottles at TTW special wine club tasting, deeply discounted, drink now price. Smooth tannins, yummy CDP, retaining earthiness and some spice. Drank both bottles. 😳

Super smooth. It was time to drink the 2009 vintage we had. Still a lot of body but would have faded over the next few years.

Fantastic. On the nose: cherry, leather, baking spice. Tannins are well integrated, acid still kicking. Delicious with food, garlic in particular. A touch of Brett, in a really great way.

Drink now if you have them. Tannins are still there but fruit has subsided quite a bit. Leather and shale/gravel notes come through.
