This is easy drinking, as far as Shiraz goes. Lush but not jammed up jammy fruit, earthy bacon (I dunno what this means I’m a vegetarian but it feels right), some chocolate and cocoa butter. Totally very easy to take down swifter than the average Syrah-based wine which is both stellar and caution-worthy. And the price point it likewise stellar so you may throw caution to the wind.

Big shiraz..black pepper, grilled meats, mint, slight pure cough syrup. Jammy blackberry with high alcohol. Pretty classic Aussie Shiraz. Very consistent producer.. #sommselect

Nice classic Barossa Shira with black pepper, blackberry jam and a bit of mocha. It has a degree of elegance that keeps it from being heavy handed. Good acidity

Good solid Barossa Shiraz. True to type - medium to full bodied, although it had a certain minty character. Eldertons Entry Level Shiraz. Bronze Medal.

Dark burgundy in color, smell of black cherry, and pepper. Good acidity with soft tannin. Medium spicy finish.

On the nose, beautifully ripe blackberries, blueberries, black plum, violets, pepper, anise and fragrant dark florals. On the palate, rich, ripe blue fruits, blackberries, plum, black plum, liquid violets, lavender, cracked pepper, rich, ripe, lush fruits...big and juicy with nice acidity on the long finish.
