As someone said here, this Rosso is better than most Brunellos ! Spiced and floral nose with dark betties and some exotic notes, medium bodied, fine tannins and lots of potential, but drinkable now for sure.

Very floral, bright and expressive Sangiovese. Diego didn't make Brunello in 09, so this has all the fruit from the small estate. Tannins intensify with a little air, but it's very lithe and delicious. Not a powerful wine, but very good.

I didn't have this wine upon release this is my first taste of the 2013. Med+ ruby with some garnet coming on. Acid and tannins softening. All in balance. Pronounced aroma and flavorof red cherry dried fig tobacco orange peel balsamic graphite dust. Really well done rosso.
