Red fruits, sweet spices on the nose - quite subtle. Juicy and ripe red fruits, spices, very nice acidity to balance the alcohol.

Beginning to show a brick edge. Great aromas of cherry, herbs (sage and lavender) leather and plum. Good length, softening tannins and we'll balanced

This is why I fell in love with Italian wine. Fuligni wines always show their temperament , elegance and rustic qualities with age. The smoky nuances penetrate both the dark, concentrated cherry fruit and the “old” wood flavor in the wine, as well this charred earth tone. Yet the tannins are integrated and create an aristocratic and velvety gracefulness. Could well stand 10+ years. Garnet color with its first hints of brick. Absolutely top class

Dark cherry, tobacco, some leather and a hint of violets and lavender on the nose. Good balance on the palate with nice dark fruit and a full palate with a slightly soured finish. This has some time ahead but is fun now. Great with stuffed peppers.

@Jorge Carabelli 's favorite brunello and I see why. Love this vintage in particular and have enjoyed having it over the past couple of years to see how it has evolved. Getting even nicer if that was at all possible.

Either the vintage is turning or this bottle was poorly stored. The ox was too much
