A little pre Dorian meal 💨🍷🥩 I just love a Nero d’Avola and this one does not disappoint. Very smooth with lots of dark fruit.

Hmmm, closed at first but then opens up to a powerful scent of old balsamic, a bit acidic as well

2007 vintage is tasting great today. Leaner and less fruit-driven style of Nero d'Avola. Musty with forest floor notes. Dry and medium-bodied. Savory and smokey on the finish.

Great wine with a little homemade lamb ragu pasta. Fresh and earthy at the same time. Love it

Tasty. I could see this wine growing on me. I was getting some toast and savory food on the nose, or that could have been the person's burger next to me. Very dark, some blackberry and dark fruit smells.
