Seemed just a touch more evolved than other bottles I've had--a little more toward the earthy/mushroom/Worcester end of the spectrum. Not severe and the beautiful cherry fruit and rose petals still there. Long live Alto Piemonte! Only one of these left ☹️

1990. Bright cherry, berry, high acid. Still some tannin. At Protik's for Mamptons 2015. Stolen from Bunny by force.

1990 Campo delle Piane, Boca. Great high altitude Nebbiolo. Drinking beautifully. Incredible amount of fruit for 25 years later. Bright cherry on the palate.
