This wine really grew on me. Good with food and just for sipping.

Nice little bottle! Mingles soil, smoke, and tart cherries. Delivers across the board.

A little thin with not much personality. Tasty fruit though. #sotervineyards #oregon #willamettevalley #pinotnoir #ctbucklinwine

From sustainably farmed vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, the 2013 North Valley Chardonnay spends two to three months on mostly used French oak, with 77% of the blend going through malolactic fermentation. On the nose, an elegant tempo—smokiness gives way to classic notes of orchard fruit, lemon tart and marzipan. It's nicely balanced, with crisp acidity, moderate weight and a beautifully delineated mineral undercurrent. There's a subtle, rather genial hint of gingersnap on the finish. 13.4% ABV

Shows a little heat on the nose. Dark bramble fruit. Spice. High phenolics. Lacks some elegance but well made
