Needs air.... with time shows raspberry, tobacco, cracked pepper, and anise. Layered with French oak aromas. Bold, fruit driven, with secondary flavors of tobacco and pepper. Acidity over tannin, but don’t undersell the tannin, with tart cranberry to finish. Hold this for 5-10 more years.

Fruit-forward for a burgundy, but it still has a nice savory foundation that I expect to find from the region. Black cherries and strawberries on the front give way to a earthy-mushroomy finish with some oak vanilla spice on the mid palate. It’s straightforward but incredibly well-integrated and expressive with fantastic minerality.

Wouh !
