Feb 5th, 20212016 vintage. This Entre Deux Mers estate with about 80 hectares of vines is owned by sisters Marie and Sylvie Courselle. They produce red, white and rosé wines, but also Crémant and even Chardonnay and Syrah. Red fruits (raspberry, red cherries) in the nose, with subtle hints of flowers and fresh basil. Bright red fruit in the mouth, balanced by a serious ripe tannic structure and lifted by fresh acidity. It also has more than decent length and I wouldn't be surprised if it would age well for 4 or 5 years. Amazing value at less than 8 euros and more proof that Bordeaux produces some of the best value wines in the world. Kudos to the sisters!
