This is a terric example of a pinot bianco from the Alto Adige region. Surprisingly rich for a wine from this region - 14% alcohol, so 2016 must have been a warm year - this has aromas of lemon rind, white flowers, and traces of flint. Cooling it down really brings out some acidity that beatifully balances the alcohol, and also brings the wine into focus through the mid-palate to a full, lingering finish. Terrific!
