Cornas Syrah

Wish I had patience. A little bit of a lot that I’m sure will become more pronounced with cellar time. Especially olives. Tannins need softening.

Ripe and juicy. Very authentic. Elegant. Very impressive.

So much freshness and purity. Lots of perfume; blueberry candy, black olives, violets, smoke, rocks, hints of exotic spices. Very juicy, lovely acid and silky soft tannin. Seems like there is some CO2 left leaving a crackly texture that is very energetic and bright. Absolutely sang with Moroccan spiced short ribs, cauliflower couscous and pumpkin.

Belle syrah légèrement réduite, élégante, équilibrée. Superbe.

Crystalline, fresh blue and red fruits with violet and licorice. The pepper comes next. Great acidity, well integrated. Just a really good wine. Wish I had more.

Stunning Syrah at $45 a bottle. I can see the controversy over the 2015s. This one drinks well now after being open for a couple hours. Overall nice fruit acid balance.

Leather, earthy notes, delicious and ready to drink.

Came around nicely on day two, a bit thin to start
