Best heymann l I've had. Truly something atypical for mosel Riesling, in my limited mosel experience.

A little young, but such purity of fruit, great balance.

Deep and profound, showing great depth and fine length, with slatey spice dominating its stone fruit infused and complex finish. Ripeness is impressive, as is its underlying acidity and gentle late harvest honey additions.

Spicy on the nose yet creamy and filled with honey on the palate. Dry with a hint of sweetness to pair very well with our seared salmon. 2004 forgotten vintage. Ab Fab!!!

Golden and honeyed, Indian Summer, yellow curry spices, baked apples, grilled peaches, warm almond pastry.
Soft, fruity acidity is beautifully braced by just a pinch of residual sugar.
Yummy.

This sat between good and great for a long time before suddenly bringing it all together about 8 hours after it was opened. Started with an aggressive petrol, lanolin nose that smoothed out over time. Had all the tools just took a bit to sort it out. Big broad juicy palate of lemon and ripe white fruits, the acid is just enough to drive this massive body to a long delicious finish. Nuts how old this was and it's still feels fresh young and primary.
