The rustic character of the Nero D’avola combined with the tartness of the frappato make for a killer wine.

Still lovely but needs to be drunk

Frapatto & Nero d'Avola. Old vines ages 4 years in Botte and one year in bottle. Lip smacking & delicious. May not make old bones but drink now and smile!

Intoxicating scents of red and blue fruits with earthy notes fighting to come thru. A brief moment of nervousness when it enters your mouth and you wonder if this is going to overwhelm. However like a great sports car another gear shows up and its structure keeps all under control. Wonderful red fruits and a savory earthiness that lingers on the tongue. A classy wine with Burgundian undertones.
