I've not had wine out of carton is a very long time! The dark and light cherries are very bright. Black plum, raspberries, dry stronger minerality, chalky on the tongue and roof of the mouth, presence of some wood dust. Not a bad finish but it does fall short. I wouldn't buy this wine, but it's not entirely awful for carton wine.

Smoking good Chianti that can't be called so because it's in Tetra Pak. Organically grown grapes, mostly from Panzano.

Real deal from the hands of a fine Chianti Classico producer, Monte Bernardi.

Nice! Decanting helped, since it was rather tight upon unscrewing the box. Smokiness and earthy chalk, followed by tart plum (pomegranate) and slight butterscotch on the sides of my tongue. Will consider buying again.

Very gluggy. Little bit of all the best features of Italian wines. Perfect table wine for non-enthusiasts, perfect everyday wine when you don't feel like trying to hard to appreciate a much-needed glass.
