Dec 11th, 2023Lugana is so beautiful, delicious and under appreciated. Just pour it for people!! An elegant cacophony of yellow pear, white flowers, green herbs and peach pit with the slightest tingle of candied fruit and beeswax. Racy acidity, medium-bodied and easily consumed!

Prior notes hold very solid:
Nose has under-ripe tropical fruit, yellow peach, spiced pear and wet minerals.
Palate has poached pear, fresh citrus rind and pineapple, hint of salinity.
100% Trebbiano di Lugana (Turbiana)

Aug 28th, 2019Straw yellow. Noted effervescence in the glass and in the bottle (gas escaped at opening). Medium intensity of aroma exhibits pear, almond, citrus rind, mineral (wet clay). Medium body, mouthwatering, racy acidity, medium alcohol 12% thrown a no heat, no bitterness, slight spritz on the lips. Long finish with medium complexity, refreshing mouth filling perfume dominated by freshly sliced, ripe lemon, honeysuckle, and almond paste.

Fresh Unripened white peaches on the nose. Very light, pale pale yellow. Light Minerality coming through on palate. Allow to come up slightly to room temp and the peach nose translates more onto the palate. Nice easy drinking white.
