2015 vintage. Tasting better every time. The truffles starting to show in the very attractive nose, loaded with raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, and delicate cedar wood. In the mouth it is a beautifully balanced, classic Saint-Emilion, that always remained true to its style. Having experience with older vintages, this should drink wonderfully over the next 30 years if well-stored. A terrific, totally underrated Grand Cru Classé. Abv. 14,5%.

1961 vintage. Delicious at 61 years old. This estate remains under the radar of many wine critics, but the wines are extremely reliable and ageworthy and they show an understated class that is totally in line with the personality of owner Xavier Jean.

1989. Somehow this estate remains a bit under the radar, but the wines are very reliable and age beautifully. Amarena cherries, rose petals, cedar and a hint of trufle. Velvety mouthfeel with elegance and depth and a long finish. Excellent.

2015 vintage. 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 4 % Petit verdot. Only the second vintage with Petit Verdot in the blend from a plot planted in 2011. Classic old school Saint-Emilion, build to age. Don't expect a flashy wine, but an understated balanced gentleman.
