It’s not drinking alone if the cats home 😉

I was recently sent this sample from Logan Wines (thank you!) to taste as it’s the latest vintage to be released for their SB.

This 2019 Sauvignon Blanc has arrived at the perfect time for summer (it will eventually get there Victoria even though it was a chilly 13 degree high on the first day of summer!).

“With our Logan Sauvignon Blanc, we set out to produce a wine that is at the opposite end of the spectrum to those particularly intent, in-your-face savvies, and I feel satisfied that we achieved a level of complexity, mouthfeel and lightness of touch that sets this 2019 Logan Sauvignon Blanc apart from its peers” - Winemaker Peter Logan. $25 a bottle.

We found it a silvery yellow shade in the glass. On the nose it’s delicate with a light bouquet of herbs, fresh flowers, mandarin and pineapple. While in the mouth it evokes oooos and yummsss upon first taste. There’s some minerality and also a nice lime-ness to it. A refined style of Sauv for sure.

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
