Deep Ruby with dark berry fruit and sweet spicy aromas. On the palate blackberry and plum flavors with vanilla, cacao and herb spice character. Gritty fine tannins, medium+ ending with a fruit spice structure. Nice value.

Ruby red with aromas of dark berries and sweet spice, complex. On the palate black cherry and raspberry flavors, herb spice with tobacco and smoky oak notes. Gritty tannins with a good mouthfeel and balanced acidity carry this wine to a lingering finish ending with earthy minerality. Good value!

Dispute the corks being very moldy on all four bottles, this wine is very nice. WTSO if you guys read these thank you for refunding my money, you go above and beyond my expectations in many ways! Cherries, flowers, earth and cedar on the nose, the taste of cherries, vanilla, violets and smoke. Mild tannins, very soft and mellow, long finish. At $12 a real bargain 3/15/14

Popped and poured. Dark ruby with slight brick at the periphery. Beginning to show some sentiment. Leather, white pepper, vanilla, ripe dark fruit, and blackberry with a little heat still. Nice balance btw tannins and acidity. Medium bodied, and firm. Tobacco, plum, cherry. I'd decant and hold onto a bottle or two for another 3-4 yrs. Great QPR at 12 bucks. 89

Lots of new oak on the nose, but a bit too much cherry and bite. Perhaps needs a few years in the cellar.

Wow, what a treat...33yr old Riojo. I think we opened it just in time.

Modern but earthy. Decant helps.
