Fresh, layered, perfect accompaniment for the table. Buoyant fruit, nice minerality, textural.

Wonderfully fine and floral mulberry and dried flowers, great acidity and depth.

Had this wine with a classic french red meat dish, wine is close to its prime. Balanced acid, fruit and tannins with decent mouth feel.

Oddly grapey and flat. Terrible vintage showing why. There is a raisiny spiced cola thing happening, despite good textures, and reasonable tannins. Smells like bicycle parts, and a sea sponge. Definitely showing brick and less than adequate extraction. Some peppery parts indicative of the plummy and herbaceous. Rosemary and tarragon. Briary and yellow pine notes. Actually a good effort in a terrible vintage. Surprised this one is alive the last one had a fork in it!

Horse blanket. This thing has the lively mouthfeel of Brett, and the muted somewhat barnyard nose to boot. Almost a green olive nose beneath. Cinnamon and black plum initially on the palate. Smoky with white pepper. Missing a substantial finish despite the bulge in the middle. Like a teenage romance. Not all there.
