N/V #Vouvray #Brut. Great value over the years.
This #wine has lots of yellow apple core aromas, briny. Moderate bubbles. The flavors continue with yellow apple core, smooth apricot, peach without the fuzz. Dry acid and finishing nice. Color is golden and slightly baked. Opened 2/5/17

Nose: toasty! Smells like champagne. A little wood, too. Butter.
Taste: as it smells - buttery, toasty, nice texture. Simple, and I like more citrus, but this is solid. 87-88.

Was probably great 5 years ago. Was improperly stored and threw acetaldeyde, ethyl acetate and 1-octen-3-ol. Basically earthy, mushroomy, and nail polish...Ew.

Dry, but still fruit-forward enough to pair with spicy foods. It's now my go-to for chicken and tofu banh mi and egg rolls from Cali Sandwich.
