Lush, opulent, succulent, seductive CS of Mendoza! Additives of 6%Merlot and 4%CF.
Macerated 25 days, then aged 11 months in 50% new French oak barrels and 50% second use American oak barrels.

Deep ruby dress, brownish purple rim.
Powerful attack by spicy black currant aroma, then tons of vanilla, evolved to cappuccino with cinnamon, crushed black pepper, blackberry/bilberry jam. Touch of basil, worn leather & wet peat.
Generous nearly full-bodied palate with well-integrated acidity & lovely velvety tannins. Flavored by black currant, saskatoon, blackthorn, blackberry, vanilla cake, smokey black cherry and spices (coriander, allspice).
Baked dark berries (plum, black cherry, blue fig) with decent savory/spicy note on mouthwatering finish.
Was finely paired with grilled pork chops.
