Transparent garnet with color to the edge. Nose is shy on opening but later yields black cherry tea and marzipan. Firm tannins lead the medium body with medium acidity. Palate echoes the nose. Medium finish. Probably should drink this one up. It could be holding strong, or the fruit could be dropping off a bit. Probably the former, but it’s in a good place now.
