Hands up if you love wine from WA 🙌
I was excited to find this Voyager Estate 2017 SBS in my recent #mediasample box from Good Pair Days (thank you!).
Voyager Estate have been making wine for over 40 years in WA’s Margaret River wine region. While living in WA I had a fantastic visit to Voyager for a tour, tasting and degustation lunch - it was a brilliant day and I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re in the region.
Voyager are carbon neutral, certified sustainable and pesticide-free 🌱
This SBS is a pale lemon colour in the glass. On the nose it’s full of tropical fruits and citrus with a hint of toastiness. In the mouth those flavours flow through with a lick of minerality and sprinkle of herbs. Vegetal and fruity all at the same time.

While I don’t think the wine is flawed it didn’t do anything for me showed some citrus and some green on the pallet but in a bland way best part is a lemony finish. Got it for a heavy discount and it makes sense why.
