Fantastic value at $10. Delicious to drink and even more delicious in boeuf Bourguignon. Deep garnet in color. Nose: Mostly prune with some elderberry jam. Palate: tannic and spicy with some added blackberry and mild black licorice notes. Medium finish with savory, spicy notes hanging around longer than the fruit.
