Ruby with aromas of sweet ripe berry fruits with a touch of oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tobacco, oak and earthy notes. Soft tannins, good balance on long finish ending with notes of earth. Fruit and pepper spice. Nice.

Tasted another bottle recently. Founded by Bill Foley to realize a dream to produce world class wines in Santa Barbara County, and in 1998, he purchased 460-acre property, planting 230 acres of vineyards. Dark in color with aromas of sweet ripe berry fruits with a touch of oak. On the palate cherry and cranberry flavors with tobacco, oak and earthy notes. Soft tannins, good balance on lingering finish ending with notes of earth and pepper spice. Nice. Tasting Sample.

Solid Pinot, fairly green on the nose, more Burgundian style, forest floor, green vegetables, deep fruit

What I like about this wine is that finish just hangs on for the longest time. Seems like it just clings to your mouth. Very nice.

Strawberry and spice nose. On the palate cherry, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, strawberry shortcake, vanilla, dill, cedar, cherry cola, and nice minerality. Moderate tannins and high acid with a lingering tart cherry in the finish.
