Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay

Big and powerful. Buttery.
A tad too much for me and lack some tension and finesse.
Still absolutely remarkable for a simple burgundy entry level...

Reductive opening stank blossomed to structured powerful chard after two hours in the decanter. A marvel what great producers can do with so called unsuitable fruit.

Wow! This wine is incredible! Smells and tastes like a peach pie infused with dried herbs and drizzled with hazelnut, lemon and clove oils. Aging beautifully, great mouthfeel, absolutely delicious bottle of wine that is firmly in its drinking window. Hard to believe it's a Bourgogne...

Pre-dinner white is showing really well. Lots of citrus and pineapple with a nice hit of acidity on the finish.

My 1/2 case of this is going way too fast, but it's so delicious right now...
