100% Cab
500 case production

Nose: potent alcohol leading into blueberry and banana peel.

Palate: slight difference from 2005 vintage. Not as spicy. Heavy fruit. Subtle finish.

Slight blend: Can Franc.

Nose: lots of cocoa and dark chocolate with a spicy espellete pepper finish.

Palate: incredibly soft and mellow. Beautiful age. Heavy tannin on finish indicative of Rutherford Ava.

Visited the Bello tasting room several years ago and purchased this wine as a courtesy purchase as it was the best of what we tasted. The bottle aging helped mellow out the tannins and made consumption more enjoyable than the tasting experience. Drinking at Lake Atitlan Guatemala.

Pretty rockin nose of cinnamon, dirt, bramble, oak and spice. Big fruit and spice on the palate with a pinch of tannin left. Still has a few years left, but thinking this is the apex. First time Bello and its a winner in my view.

220 case production.

Nose: delightful prune and smoke. Jammy and mouth watering goodness. Some bell pepper.

Palate: pepper and prune, dry but jammy. Coats the center palate. Yum.

Young, tight. Really good, but just too tight today. 3 years?
