Jasmine. Soft and round. To me, more like Pinot Blanc or Pinot Gris. Rather a-typical Gruner and the most nuanced wine I’ve had from this producer.

Fantastic gruener made in CA. Check out his rieslings and pinots as well.

Been waiting for this one and it did not disappoint. The nose hits every element you could ask for - funk, flowers, fruit, spice and minerality. Layers of fleshy stone fruit, lemon oil, quince, fennel, eucalyptus and white pepper. Fresh flowers and river bed slate combined with surging - even pulsing acidity and M+ body make this wine an absolute must in anyone's cellar, wine list or dinner table.

Fantastic California Reisling from an obscure winery. Grass, a hint of vanilla, super-delicious lip-smacking acid, and a looong finish.

2011 Tatomer "Paragon" Gruner Veltliner, Edna Valley | This wine was as enjoyable to drink as it was to just look at the label. And with that design, that's saying a lot!

Talcum, grapefruit, yellow plum, papaya, verbena, w pepper spice, lavender, chalk. Love the mineral laden backbone to the wine coupled with its moderate weight and crispy acidity. So fun and easy

Really a surprise wine and very enjoyable - drank like a more floral SB. And this came from Sonoma? Would like to have again

Enjoyable but, Grüner Veltliner from a classic region shows more acid and mineral character

#tatomer is making some of the best crisp mineral whites around. Very delicious stuff but not fair game for #msclassic wines
