Tannins, acid, and fruit never came together in a dance... felt rigid. Had this alongside Melville and Holus Bolus, which were more enjoyable now. Am I missing something with the v97 rating??!?

Nice quality/price ratio. Dark squid-ink purple. 13.1 ABV... not a hint of jammy, sweet, over-the-top-richness. Pleasant mid-weight dinner companion. Good not great. Nice acid/fruit balance...lots of blackberry/blueberry/cherry hints.

A really pretty syrah. Very light translucent red with crisp red fruits. Strawberry, cranberry, and rose petal. A huge runway for development here, would love to try this again in 5yrs.
