Lovely cherry and plum nose, light and lingering with spice and some slate or something like that.

2012 vintage: thin stain on cork. Color appropriate for a village wine. Nose classic cherry notes with flinty aromas. In the mouth nice round metallic rimmed flavored classic for French Pinot. The acid is excellent. I would rate it at 9.0 which is excellent on a 10 point scale. Can't wait to taste the premier crus.

Wow, maybe the best Burgogne I've ever had. Complex, earthy, everything you want for a $50 wine... For $30!!!
