Today was a reason to celebrate, my good friend was promoted to MD at the Big 4. Well deserved, Joe! This bottle is amazing - loads of minerality with lemon zest, lemon curd and a hint of butterscotch (although, the butterscotch may be the influence of the subsequent rating/bottle; Meursault-Perrier’s 1997)

Straight forward Chardonnay. Citrus & tropical fruit flavors enhanced with just a touch of oak. Perfectly balanced. Edit - Will benefit with a bit more time in the bottle.

Beautiful! After drinking mediocre wines all day I needed something like this. Warm vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg notes.

A gift from @Joe Lucca I was able to share with the local group and it was a big hit. Power and precision, honeysuckle, green apple, flint and a dab of brioche. May be my first Corton Blanc and I need more of this now.
