Deep purple. Vanilla, oak, and slight sour note aroma. Brighter on the palate than expected with chalky tannins. Overall nice approach with a sharp execution.

Nice and smooth. The tannins mimic a Bordeaux very nicely. Oak and vanilla notes highlight this this strong cab.

Gerry Rowland, the winemaker etc. told me many years ago that this is his Bordeaux style Napa offering. I have always enjoyed and sold this wine. This vintage has blueberry and blackberry on the nose and a nice medium dry finish. Drinks well as soon as you open the bottle. Nice food wine that goes well with grilled meats.
