Great Syrah.

great value for money! less than 9 € at Nicolas. A very beautiful Syrah wine, balanced with all the characteristics that we like to find in this grape variety: perennial notes of fresh black fruits (blueberries, blackberries). Stronger flavors of licorice, pine resin, black olives .. healthy duration in the mouth, simple and straightforward. decant two hours before serving around 16 degrees.

Gorgeous soul of the Rhône on display here at a bargain price. Loads of violet, lavender and cracked pepper, great minerality and plenty of vibrant black fruit. The nose brings to mind a warm Breeze rustling through fields of lavender, with a wonderfully gamey note to give balance on a long finish. Simply delicious

First 100% Syrah ever had. Very dark, dry, and bold. Wish I’d have had some dark chocolate

Interesting red with bright fruit and barn yard funk. Paired well with my pork loin and oriechette with mushroom Bolognese.

Typical but not exciting.

Bright dark ruby color. Long lasting tears on glass. Smells of graphite and raspberries. Medium high tannin. Medium acidity. Nice round, soft mouthfeel. Medium high alcohol.

Entry-level Syrah

Tart red berries and cheese rind. Light body, but full, rounded flavor.

An entry-level cuvée by one of the great Syrah specialist from Cornas. Nice bottle for its price. Balanced, very well designed and greedy. Syrah youthful fruity trend (fresh black fruits)
