This is a very tasty Cabernet Franc from Oakville. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Rich yet elegant.
I had the 2007 a few years ago, and it is very consistent. This 8 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.
Good by itself or with food. Tangy and interesting. Just Delicious.

22 years old and a mediocre vintage are not the ingredients for a positive surprise. Unfortunately that turned out to be correct. I will not lie there was a moment of excitement as the color I felt certainly did not show its age. The nose had a furniture polish vibe. In the mouth a very strong acidic spine unfortunately the fruit was almost totally gone and the tannins were prominent and bitter.
That all said I find Paradigm offers very good Q/PR

First Time for me 2005 Cab Franc, from Paradigm. Good fruit component with soft tannin, medium weight structure. Had a herbaceous nose that opened up after 30 minutes of air. Solid wine. CB 91
