The 2015 Rosso di Montalcino is soft, supple and very pretty. Sweet tobacco, crushed flowers, mint, licorice and dried herbs add lovely aromatic nuance to this mid-weight, gracious Rosso. Silky fruit and soft contours add to the wine's considerable personality, immediacy and appeal. The 2015 is not super-complex, but it is immensely delicious. Drink it over the next handful of years. One hell of a rosso. Earth and liquorice abound. Rich, full and hugely satisfying. So much better than loads of Brunello. Awesome

This is a very well made Sangiovese. No elbows, full middle, smooth. Pop and pour. Bravo!
