Vintage 2017 | refinement and precision. beautiful lime in smell. hint of passion fruit. organic certified since 2011. fine acidity in taste, extremely well balanced. Guiraud sec from Sauvignon and Semillon benefits from cellaring. Paired with smoked salmon, cream cheese and toast for lunch.

2019 vintage. Gorgeous white peach, bright acidity and very good length with retronasal fruit and a nice almondy touch. Terrific value.

The 2017 is already showing hints of Cat Piss. I tasted this blind along with other 3 #sauvignonblanc from #bordeaux and one Martinborough and the Martinborough blew them all out of the water.

The 2011 ‘Le G’ by Chateau Guiraud is simply gorgeous from this great vintage for white wine in Bordeaux. Balanced and silky, with a plush mouthfeel, the wine delivers bright Gravenstein apple, cantaloupe, and brandy and clove infused Bosc pear flavors that mingle with minerals and shades of wild mushroom. Outstanding now, I can’t imagine this improving with age, as this is best enjoyed over the next several years. Drink 2019-2024- 91

Vintage 2014 / phieuwww, the wine surprises me. A smell with fennel and cellery, lime zest. Buttery also. Taste with passion fruit, papaya. A wine with layers of taste. #bordeauxblanc

Oak and mineral typicity but mainly struck by the ripe fruitiness of the wine. Made in a round, creamy, full-bodied style.

2015 vintage

Star bright gold in the glass. Honey, grass, and white flowers on the nose. Lemongrass, citrus rind, and white flowers on the medium palate with medium plus acidity. Classic example of the Bordeaux Blanc appellation with a great QPR.

Golden color. Nose of toasted biscuit and honey with a touch of citrus. Mandarin orange or pink grapefruit. Solid weight and a rounded texture, with a touch of acidity. Balanced. Nice mix of sav blanc and semillion... Perhaps It shoulda been a bit more semillion. 89
