Ahr Spätburgunder Rosé

Rich macerated strawberries serious acid huge rose, closer to a light Pinot. This winery was destroyed during the flooding of the Ahr earlier this year

I've hit the last 4 out of 5 weekly wine committees and it has been a treat every time. This week, @Jeff Meyer hosted and schooled everyone on how good German wines can be!

Obviously young, but very delicious. Epitomized ripe red fruit. Some earthiness funk to the nose and the finish was fairly quick.

Good fruit great acidity.

Strawberry. Slight river stone. Mellow mouth feel. Good fall rosé.

Sweet ripe melon, rose petal and faint strawberry on the nose, great acidity and long finish. Delectable!
