Opens with nice tension between cool deep pitched fruit and candied cranberry. Bright acidity, abundant fine tannins. With time in glass the fruit gets more high toned, mingles with bay leaf, woody herbs and spices, and gets some traction from a nice white pepper element. Good food friendly wine--shoulda cooked red meat--but drinks well after dinner too.

Nice wine that needs to open up. I think it could age for a few more years. When first opened, it was stringent, tight and had very firm tannins. After letting it breath for a few hours you get the potential this wine has. Would buy again to cellar.
