Lots of low ratings for this one from Georgia. Perhaps it was the wonderful charred lamb chops pairing but I enjoyed it. Bell pepper, woodsy, meaty, smoke, tobacco, but some good fruit to balance it all out.

Transparent and vibrant ruby garnet in the glass (Riedel Veritas Old World Syrah). Savory nose of dried herbs over baked red fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium minus acidity. Palate of baked pomegranate and rhubarb. Soft tannins on the medium finish. In a good place now. Accompanied beef stroganoff nicely.

Garnet color, mild tannins, light red stone fruit mixed with a hint of black pepper.

Transparent Ruby color. Can't smell much beyond the alcohol. Tart fruity flavors on the front, maybe cranberries or cherries. Fruity finish with only slight tannin flavors. A good basic red table wine. Would go good with mild red meat or pasta with red sauce

Flavorful rustic wine. Fruit-forward, strong tannic finish. Different but interesting. Good with strong cheeses or foods. Let it breathe 30 minutes.

Paired well with a London Broil. Not too strong on the tannins. Liked it.

Medium bodied. Definitely some tannins here. Raspberry and rhubarb. Not much of a finish. I've got Georgia on my mind.

Dry, green fruit, apple seed, Raspberry. Light body followed by brazen acidity, pricey for this Saperavi. Thursday wine, easily passed around the table. 2013
