The 2017 Chardonnay is soft, supple and absolutely delicious. Light tropical notes, lemon confit, white flowers and bright acids give the 2017 striking nuance as well as character. The Foxglove Chardonnay is built on a core of fruit from Los Alamos, with a touch of fruit from Paso Robles, vinified and aged in steel, with no malolactic fermentation. An interesting CA Chardonnay done in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, refreshing from typical CA style. Aromas of fruit, floral and spice. On the palate peach and tropical fruits with an underlying sweetness. Medium length ending on the crisp side. If you find a ‘13, drink now! Great value!

Nose has a sense of cleaning products and water in a bucket...not to mention a touch of turpentine. The palate is lemon/lime juice, green apple, beeswax with just a slight hint of turpentine, mushroom and grainy minerals.
