Pretty good value. Closed at first, it’s been opening up over the past hour. Now shows sappy, grapey cherry juice, fragrant loamy soil, spice and crushed rock. On the lighter side in the mouth, but it’s soft and has decent concentration, lots of straightforward dark cherry fruit over a stony, savory base. Good acids. Tannins low and fine-grained. It’s not gonna get any wows but it’s a solid weeknight roast chicken burg.

Soft and mellow, ruby red and ripe berries. Great pairing with lamb Steaks, using up left over jus from my birthday. Would definitely recommend, especially as it was on offer at Sainsbury's.

Not bad, but nothing amazing either. Not getting much fruit or earthiness you would expect from Burgundy. Just ok.

Bright red fruits dominate. Acid is lacking but easy to drink wine.
