Blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Carignan, and the rest equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berries, smoke and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and licorice with pepper and spice notes. Long finish, ending with fruit and mineral notes.

A beautiful blend of Garnache, Carignan, & Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, rich aromas plum sauce, and cocoa fill the glass as soon as you pour. These carry over into the full bodied pallate but tertiary flavors of leather, crushed gravel, and fig come through as well (even more so on day 2). Finish is smooth and long but a bit hot (although this wine hides it's 15% abv quite well) with slight bite from the well integrated medium tannins. Paired perfectly with an anniversary celebration at Cafe Lurcat! ($28) [11/12/17]

2018 vintage. Mostly garnacha but with some syrah and cabernet sauvignon in there as well. Dark, floral, earthy nose. Medium body. Lots of punch and grip with the mouthfeel and the finish.

A true black beauty. Rich, dark, and velvety smooth. Black currants, chocolate covered black cherries, a crack of pepper, and a dash of vanilla. A shadowy minerality vibrates throughout this delicious expression of Garnaca's potential. Still young, needs some time to deepen its secondary flavors.

Not my style. More extracted and alcoholic than I'd prefer. You can taste that the fruit is quality, it was just over-done

Big, Dense, Juicy, I enjoyed this wine very much. I think that it is much better than other Priorats I have had, and it's a fraction of the price

Wondefully fruit forward for an old world wine. The Grenache and Carignan come on strong and the can seems to linger in the back end. Dark fruit dominant, with a wonderful baking spice note.
