From taste: sweet raspberry and pomegranate, a strong beaune, candlewax, mint cedar and vanilla nose.Energetic. Fine minerality as well. Raspberry and waxy palate, cedar is popping out however, good concentration and length on the finish. Flavors a bit muddled on palate, needs time. Fine medium tannins, midweight. Fair bit of extraction but remains cool, a bit more wood than I'd like. Good acidity, will age well, and I suspect the wood will integrate. Still one of the better guyon wines I've had, but for $72, it should be!
