Rare Release Straight Rye Whiskey

This is the newly released 2 year old Willet Rye. Not 7yr old Bourbon.

The first from their own still.

I am a big fan of rye whiskeys. This guy is good on a large rock or neat. Smooth and flavorful. If you fancy the brown stuff now and then Willett is worth a shot.

Impressive depth. Velvety mouthfeel. Luscious finish. Orchard fruits.

nice easy drinker. green apple? coffee... big fan.

Damn good rye

Forgive the whiskey entry but I'm often asked about Bourbon for wine drinkers. The ABV may be a bit stiff for some and need a little Voss, but neat the nose is ridiculous...tobacco, orange peel, sassafras. Sipping...cinnamon bark, tree nuts, sweet cream.

Best rye I've had.
