Dark, brooding and tight when opened. It eventually softened up and was showing violets at the end of the hour.

Ripe, light bodied, Southern Italian wine with complex nose. Dried fruits, mineral, leather, tobacco, with hints of petroleum. Very smooth on the palate with soft tannins and medium to low acidity.
