The reserve is a nice table wine. The oak on the reserve softens the acid and tannins but bright fruit and herbs are still preserved. Easy drinker, crowd pleaser (but like the whites I found the unoaked more fun and cerebral).

Nearly extinct red grape named (Kalecik, Turkey) after its place of origin. Wonderful aromas of black cherry, black licorice and menthol. Dark cherry, cranberry and blackberry fruit flavors are highlighted by notes of basil, eucalyptus, black tea and pepper spice. Ruby red color, medium bodied with a soft and lovely mellow finish. Hints of the French Oak Barrels this wine was aged in. Quite good. Thanks Ron B!

Juicy and big, but reasonable acidic support for quaffing with rich food. Fun. And Turkish!

Really enjoying this easy to drink wine. Seems light, but packs a silent punch.

Medium body Turkish red. Red and black fruit and a bit of spice. Great everyday wine! Smooth and easy drinking.

Not sure how I feel about it. Tobacco/herbal taste.. strong taste but weak Pinot-like mouth feel. Can't wrap my head around it. Not sure if I'm just confused or if I don't care for it.

Ruby red. Earthy, sandy, rustic, and toasty with red berries, plum and lilac on the nose. In the mouth it pops right off the bat with acidity and cranberry. Light to medium bodied, yet still savory and lush, and elegant in balance and character. Along with the cranberry there's flavors of strawberry and tea. It finishes with strong tannin, alcohol heat, high acidity, and flavors of cranberry and tea.
