Aug 27th, 2020Had this a few years ago and recently tasted again. Dark Ruby with some dark fruits, tobacco and spicy aromas. Palate shows stewed plum fruits and spices. Rustic tannins, medium finish ending with oaky notes, a bit tired. Drink now, heading downhill fast.

Rich black fruit that is a bit chunky at present. I would've liked a little more acidity. The oak treatment imparts exotic spice notes that adds intrigue. The little lady loved it, so I guess that's all that counts.
