Bright garnet colour, a little watery, but clean. Wonderful wafts of cherry, spice and minerals. Consistent nose, just short of rich and maybe a little clinical, lovely but lacks that something that sets it apart. Medium body, suggested more on the nose than delivered on the palate, dry, rounded tannins with a good alcohol level. A very pleasing wine with hints of something of greatness but not quite there.
